Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have flat shipping?
Yes, we do! Flat Shipping is $10 Australia Wide on a box of 6 pack of wines. All wine sold for shipping must be in 6 or 12 packs. Some remote locations will require additional postage - this will be recorded at checkout.

Do you offer FREE local delivery?
Yes! If you live within 40km radius of Trentham, simply click on free local delivery at checkout. We will deliver free of charge. You can order as many bottles as you please.

Where does your fruit come from?
Our Shiraz, Chardonnay and Ruby Cabernet fruit comes from a family property on the NSW Riverina. Our first vintage at our Trentham property will be April 2021.

Do you have a cellar door?
No, not at this stage. We offer online sales and face to face sales. We will keep you updated on the construction of the cellar door as time progresses.

What does low-preservative wine mean?
In our case, sulphur and other preservatives have not been added to our wine. Sulphur has been used in cleaning the bottles and cleaning the equipment used to bottle the wine.

Why do most wineries add sulphur to wine?
Sulphur is used in the wine making process to end fermentation (especially in white wine). It is then added to stop oxidation and as a preservative (220) to stop any little organisms growing in it.

Why don't you add preservatives to your wine?
Rohan feels that adding sulphur and other preservatives (such as artificial tannin) mask the natural flavours of the wine. He prefers the wine to have minimal intervention.

Does no sulphur mean my wine will go off sooner?
Not necessarily. Our wine is a drink now style so it is ready to drink when you purchase it. We suggest you don't cellar our wine away for 10 years, but we are interested to see how the flavours develop over time and how long the wine lasts in its natural state.

What's the best way to contact you?
Email is your best bet info@winemakeruncorked.com.au and Alison or Rohan will get back to you as soon as possible.

It's taken a while for us to find a wine that we wanted to keep buying by the box but Enders Hill has done it! Enjoyable with all our favourite meals, it is a find!

Adored this Shiraz! Smooth, elegant and lovely to drink. I appreciated most that it didn't irritate my sinuses at all, I'm so glad I found it!

Enders Hill wines are beautiful, full bodied wines that carry lots of berries coming through. Easy to enjoy such a boutique wine knowing it works on the principle of less is more.
